Day 01       Siem Reap (Arrival  07:50AM)                                              (-)

 

Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, meet and greet by our local guide, assisted and transfer to hotel, check in. Early check in is subject to availability. 

 

Free and easy, the rest of the day. Relax and explore this charming town on your own. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

Day 02       Siem Reap/Angkor Wat                                                            (B)

 

After breakfast, enjoy a full day excursion to discover Angkor Thom (the Great City) and Temples including the Southern Gate, famous Bayon temple (12th century in the centre of city remains one the  most enigmatic temples of the Angkor group  composed of 54 gothic towers decorated with 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara.

 

Baphuon temple is lying just to the north of Bayon a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru.

 

Terrace of Elephants used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s grand audience hall, Terrace of the Leper King  a platform 7m high, with statue and temple walls covered in emerald-green moss intertwined with roots which many deem the most charming of all, Ta Prohm.

 

Afternoon, it is time to visit the wonderful Angkor Wat Temples, one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the first half of 12th.

 

Angkor Wat is probably the best-preserved of the Angkorean temples, with a central tower surrounded by four smaller towers. The central monument represents the mythical Mount Meru, the holy mountain at the centre of the universe, which was home to the Hindu God Vishnu.

 

The whole complex covers 81 hectares, a rectangular wall measuring 1025 meters by 800 meters borders the inner edge of the moat, and temple's greatest sculptural treasure is its 2 km-long bas-reliefs around the walls.

 

In the late afternoon, visit to the Phnom Bakheng temple, is the first temple in Angkor region build by the Yacovarman I King in the first of 9th century, located on a slope gently hill where thousands tourist are grouping on the hilltop to catch a memorable time of life when viewing the marvellous sunset, the distant Angkor Wat in the jungle. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.


Day 03       Siem Reap                                                                                    (B)

 

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. First, drive pass the Royal Residence is where the king of Cambodia stays on his visits to Siem Reap but this isn’t open to tourists. The Royal Independence Gardens which means Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm Shrine and Ya-Tep Shrine are just across the street. The only significance of the Royal Residence is its immediate proximity to Royal Independence Gardens, a favourite place for most tourists in all of Cambodia.

 

You can have an option to visit the Angkor Archaeological Park, not far from the park which represents the remnants of the millennium-old capitals of the old Khmer Empire constructed between the 9th and 12th century A.D. of ancient Khmer architecture, art and civilization. It contains some of the most famous temples in the world.


This visit requires lots of walking of the more remote temples. There is a dress code required to enter parts of these temples. Men must 

wear long shorts that cover the knees and preferably golf shirts (nothing sleeveless) and women must also wear long shorts that cover

the knees and wear sleeved T-shirts or blouses that cover the shoulders (a wrap over the shoulders is not enough).

 

Reading up the history of this complex will greatly heighten the experience if you don’t intend to engage a tour guide.

 

Then visit Angkor National Museum known as the grand entrance to a world-class heritage that reveals the glory of Angkor Civilization. This museum enhances the cultural heritage of the Golden Era of Khmer Kingdom through amassed collection of invaluable artifacts and through state of the art multimedia technology exhibition for a full picturesque legendary story.

 

Later, in the afternoon visit Kampong Phluk Floating Village, 16 km at north-south of Siem Reap. It’s economy might expect, based in fishing, primary in shrimp harvesting.

 

Take a paddle ride through the flooded forest. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

  

Day 04       Siem Reap                                                                                    (B)

 

After early breakfast, drive through the lovely country where could see the traditional Khmer houses, friendly local inhabitants as well as also see cattle are in the field.  

 

After arriving the mountain top of Phnom Kulen we will explore from the thousand Linga River, gigantic reclining Buddha where local people believe as a holly place then enjoy to swim at the waterfall follow by picnic lunch on the river bank (Lunch on own account).

On the way back stop at Pradark Village, where you will see the villagers making palm sugar, handicraft for selling to tourist.

  

It’s a nice chance for you to see the local people living at the country side with their struggling for daily life. Overnight in Siem Reap

 

Day 05       Siem Reap (Departure 03:05PM)                                            (B)

 

After breakfast, free at own leisure till transfer to the airport for your onwards destination.
