Day 01 Arrival in the Airport     (-)


Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku, meet and greet our representative, have lunch if it is an afternoon arrival, transfer to hotel. Free at own leisure. Overnight in Baku.


Day 02 Baku Old City Tour        (B)


After breakfast, proceed for Baku city tour, starting from Highland Park with the panaromic view of the city and Baku Bay. It is also the best spot for photo shoot. Continue to Baku’s 21st-century icons, the astonishing trio skyscrapers, the ‘Flame Towers’. Visit the a guided walk through the medieval heart of the Old City, the impressive stone walls, pierced by massive double gates, the timeless low-rise buildings here include the classic caravanserais, antique bath-houses and traditional mosques with calligraphic facades. 


Visit the colourful trading street, oozing unique atmosphere, climb to the top of Baku’s oldest and most historically mysterious structure, the Maiden Tower, famous for its many stories and legends. Later, visit the Old City stop, the Shirvanshahs Palace, built in the 14th & 15th centuries by a dynasty of rulers who shaped the whole medieval history of Baku. End the tour at Baku Seaside Boulevard, passing by the Little Venice with emerald green waters, bridges, Venetian-inspired colonnades and the unique Carpet Museum. The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum presents different schools and techniques from around the entire country, as well as covering various historical states and the development of carpet weaving. Continue the excursion visiting Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev. Have dinner, and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Baku.

Day 03 Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes                             (B)


After breakfast, proceed to Gobustan, visit the Gobustan National Museum, the ancient human bones, work tools used, back to thousand years ago during the Mesolithic period. Walk up to the mountain, to see real rock paintings in the open air museum. Continue to the Mud Volcano, not far from Gobustan National Museum, well known for its perfectly preserved rock paintings, petroglyphs a kind of artistic "archive" of human evolution on the Earth. Azerbaijan preserves the first place in the world for the number of mud volcanoes. About 300 mud volcanoes are to be found in Azerbaijan, at the shore, in the sea and on islands. Get a great chance to see these amazing active volcanoes from very close distance. Visit the beautiful Bibiheybat mosque. Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Baku.

Day 04 Absheron Peninsula      (B) 


After breakfast, start the tour from Absheron Peninsula. Visit the Fire Temple Ateshgah, located 30km from the center of Baku, in the south-eastern outskirts of the Absheron Peninsula. The temple was built over of natural gas that fueled a vent providing an ‘eternal’ fire which Zoroastrians used to worship the authentic Azerbaijani exotic. It is well-known practically all over the world. This territory is known for such unique natural phenomenon as burning natural gas outlets, underground gas coming onto surface contacts oxygen and lights up. The temple in its present state was constructed in the 17th-18th centuries. It was built by the Baku-based Hindu community related to Sikhs. It is situated next to this small village in the Absheron peninsula of Mount Yanardag, the natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula near Baku, which itself is known as the “land of fire’’.


This natural burning flame became as a result of the emergence of natural gas at the foot of the hill. a hill that burning approximately 4 millenniums nonstop even in times of raining and snowing roots of the gas going as far as to Caspian Sea. 


Enjoy the view of Yanardag, the infamous burning mountain. In ancient times, natural eternal flames were burning in many places of Absheron. Yanardag was declared State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve in order to protect natural monument. Have dinner and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Baku.

Day 05 Guba-Khinaliq     (B) 


After breakfast, proceed to Guba City and Masdargah with some stopping points. On the way to Khinalig (Khinalug) Village, enroute to the Qecresh forest, for a photo shots, meet the local people and go for a horse ride. Reaching the Khinaliq, the highest village of all Europe, the Khinalug! Xınalıq (2335m), Europe’s highest village. Its upper half retains many ancient stone houses that form distinctively austere stepped terraces up a steep highland ridge. And the whole scene is often magically wrapped in spooky clouds that reveals 360-degree views of the surrounding Caucasus. 


The Red Settlement is located across the Qudiyalçay River or (Kudyal River) from the larger town of Quba. It is the primary settlement of Azerbaijan's population of highland, or mountain Jews who make up the population of approximately 4,000. The most widely spoken language in Red town is Juhuri. It is considered to be the world's last surviving shtetl. The settlement is sometimes referred to as the Red Town or the Red Village, possibly because of the red tiling used on many of the roofs. Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Baku.

Day 06 Gabala     (B) 


After breakfast, proceed to Qabala city, approximately 3hrs 35mins, enroute to Shamakha to see the historical Juma Mosque, Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum and the Shirvan Shah's family grave yard. Then, visit the fascinating Nohur Lake locates near the village of Nohurqishlag. The quiet atmosphere and bird sounds will create an ideal relaxation environment.


After lunch, continue driving to the city of Qabala, southwest of Chukhur Gabala village with ancient ruins, including imposing gate towers, from the city’s time as capital of Caucasian Albania. The Tufandag Winter–Summer Mountain Resort offers ski runs, on the city’s northeastern outskirts, in the nearby Ancient Albanian church Boyuk Amili. To the west, Nij is home to the native Udi people. Drive to Tufandag Mountain Resort  locates 4km far from Gabala City and be amazed with the Cable Car in the Resort. Visit the Gabaland Entertainment Center for having great times specially for the children. Have dinner and return to Baku, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Baku.


Day 07 Departure Day     (B)


After breakfast, check-out from the hotel, transfer to the Airport for the onward destination.
