Day 01 Kathmandu/City tour (-)


Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International airport, meet and greet our representative, transfer to hotel. Check into hotel, refresh and relax a short while. Later proceed for a half-day sightseeing to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the World Heritage Site. Visit Taleju Temple, built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 AD, Kal Bhairav, the god of destruction, Nautale Durbar, Nasal Chowk, Gaddi Baithak, the statue of King Pratap Malla and Jagannath.  


Swayambhunath is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old formation. The ‘watchful’ eyes of Lord Buddha are painted on the four sides of the base of this structure. It is a famous World Heritage Site offering a magnificent view of Kathmandu Valley. Have dinner, and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 Kathmandu/Pokhara (B)


After breakfast, check out and drive to Pokhara, approximately six hours journey. 


Stope over for lunch on the mid journey and continue to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into hotel, freshen up and relax a short while. Later proceed to visit the World Peace Pagoda. Roam around the Lake side and enjoy Boating in Fewa Lake in the evening. Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 03 Pokhara (B)


After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour in Pokhara covering Bindabasini Temple, Davi’s Falls and Gupteshwor Cave.


Bindabasini Temple is the centre of religious activity in Old Bazaar, dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati, a manifestation of Shakti. The grounds outside is used as a perfect picnic spot. Festivities galore on Saturdays and Tuesdays when devotees flock there to offer sacrifices.


Next, proceed to visit the Seti Gorge, the boisterous river flowing right through the city, which runs completely underground at many places. Amazingly, at certain points the river appears hardly two meters wide. Its depth is unfathomable, over 20 meters! The Mahendra Pul, a small bridge near the old Mission Hospital, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by its powerful flow.


Visit the Guptehswar Cave, a sacred cave located near Devi’s Fall, which is almost three kilometres long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages. It holds special place among Hindus since phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in its original form. (Clicking pictures inside the cave is prohibited).


Next, proceed to Devi’s Fall, locally known as Patale Chhango, is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen. It is also known as Devil’s, Devin’s or David’s Fall. Legend has it that a trekker (named Devin or David) was washed away by Pardi Khola and disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall. Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 04 Pokhara/Kathmandu (B)


After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kathmandu, approximately six hours journey. Transfer to hotel, check in, and refresh. After a short relaxation, proceed to Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath in evening. 


Pashupatinath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is situated 5 km east of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath, with its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors is considered one of the holiest Hindu shrines. It is listed as the World Heritage Site.


Later, visit Boudhanath, is an ancient colossal Buddhist stupa is one of the biggest stupas in the world located 3 km east of Pashupati. It has been listed as the UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979. Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 05 KathmanduDeparture (B)


After breakfast, check out, put your luggage at the hotel storage. Free and easy at own leisure till scheduled departure to Airport for your onward destination.
