Kathmandu / Chitwan / Pokhara

Day 01 Kathmandu (-)


Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet and greet our representative, transfer to hotel, check in and refresh. After a short relaxation, proceed to Swayambhunath, one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old formation. The ‘watchful’ eyes of Lord Buddha are painted on the four sides of the base of this structure. It is a famous World Heritage Site offering a magnificent view of Kathmandu Valley.


Have lunch and proceed to visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square is the World Heritage Site. Visit Taleju Temple, built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 AD, Kal Bhairav, the god of destruction, Nautale Durbar, Nasal Chowk, Gaddi Baithak, the statue of King Pratap Malla and Jagannath. Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in  Kathmandu.

Day 02 Kathmandu/Chitwan National Park (-)


After breakfast, proceed to Chitwan National Park, transfer to hotel, check into Jungle Safari Lodge, refresh and relax. 


Have lunch, free and easy at own leisure till evening. Evening, proceed to enjoy Tharu cultural dance followed by dinner during evening. Overnight in Chitwan National Park. 

Day 03 Chitwan National Park (-)


Upon early breakfast, start the Elephant safari jungle riding or a Jeep safari as your choice. Visit the elephant breeding centre, enjoy a canoe ride or jungle hike during afternoon.


Chitwan National Park is one of the premier draw cards in Nepal with more than 932 sq km of forests, marshland and grassland containing sizeable animal populations, making it one of the best national parks for viewing wildlife in Asia. Have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and some of the more than 500 species of birds. If you’re extremely lucky, you may spot a leopard, wild elephant or sloth bear, though it’s the once-in-a-lifetime chance to spot a majestic royal Bengal tiger that is the premier attraction.

Have lunch in one of the restaurants in CNP, and continue enjoying the park till evening. Overnight in Chitwan National Park.

Day 04 Chitwan National Park/Pokhara (B)


After breakfast, check out and proceed to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel, check into hotel, refresh and relax.  Later, have lunch and proceed for half day sightseeing to World Peace Pagod a Shanti Stupa in Pokhara also called as Peace Pagoda, is a stunning monument located on the Anadu Hill overlooking the mesmerising Phewa Lake with the charming Annapurna Mountain range in the backdrop. 


It is a striking landmark or a pleasant pit stop for the intrepid climbers which adds beauty to the Pokhara Valley, Fewa Lake and Pokhara city. The surroundings have several trekking trails to cross to Phewa Lake and explore the Himalayas. One can either cycle through one of the tracks that lead to the top of the hill, take the road to the Stupa or enjoy a drive through the scenic location. The picturesque beauty is quite captivating, and the tranquil vibe of the monument is worth a visit for those seeking it.


The hilltop provides a splendid view of sunrise and sunset. Go for boating in Fewa Lake in the evening. Have dinner, and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 05 Pokhara (B)


After breakfast, proceed for Pokhara Valley sightseeing. Visit Seti Gorge, Bindabasini Temple, Gupteshwar cave and Davi’s Falls.


Visit the Bindabasini Temple is the centre of religious activity in the Old Bazaar. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati, the manifestation of Shakti. The grounds outside is used as a perfect picnic spot. Festivities galore on Saturdays and Tuesdays when devotees flock there to offer sacrifices.


Next, visit the boisterous river Seti Gorge flows right through the city, runs completely underground at many places. Amazingly, at certain points the river appears hardly two meters wide. Its depth is unfathomable, over 20 meters! Mahendra Pul, a small bridge near the old Mission Hospital, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by its powerful flow.


Have lunch and continue to Gupteswar Cave is a sacred cave located near Devi’s Fall. The cave is almost three kilometres long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages. This cave holds special place among Hindus since phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in its original form. (Clicking pictures inside the cave is prohibited.)


Proceed to the Devi’s Fall, locally known as Patale Chhango, is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen. It is also known as Devil’s, Devin’s or David’s Fall. Legend has it that a trekker (named Devin or David) was washed away by Pardi Khola and disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall. Have dinner, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 06 Pokhara – Kathmandu (B)


After breakfast, check out and drive down to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel, refresh and relax, Free and easy at own leisure and have lunch. Evening go for shopping in Thamel area.  Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 07 Kathmandu/Departure (B)

After breakfast, check out and visit Pashupatinath, situated 5 km east of Kathmandu, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath with its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors is considered one of the holiest Hindu shrines.


Later, visit Boudhanath, which lies 3 km east of Pashupati, an ancient colossal Buddhist stupa is one of the biggest stupas in the world. It has been listed as the UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979


After sightseeing, transfer to the Airport as scheduled for night flight for onward destination.
