Day 01             Delhi                                                                                                                                                                           (-)


Upon arrival our representative will meet and greet at Airport, assist you and transfer to hotel. Check-in, free and easy.​ Overnight in Delhi.


Day 02             Delhi/Jaipur (6 hrs/280 kms)                                                                                                                              (B) 


After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, popularly known as the Pink City with steeped in history and culture. Here the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces, blushed pink, where once lived the maharajas. The bustling bazaars of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthani Jewellery, fabric and shoes, possess a timeless quality and are surely a treasure-trove for the shoppers.

Arrive Jaipur, transfer to hotel, check in, free and easy. Stroll around the hotel vicinity. Dinner and overnight in Jaipur.


Day 03             Jaipur                    (B)


After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. Visit the Amber Fort, was built 16th century by a trusted general of Akbar, Maan Singh. It was built with red sandstone and white sandstone. 


Next, enjoy elephant ride while climbing up to the Amber Fort to the main entrance. 


If Elephant ride is not possible then we will use the other option, Jeep Ride, one of the best ways to explore the charm and beauty of pink city. Take a jeep ride to explore the beauty of City Palace, Amer, and Birla Mandir in Jaipur through a wonderful Jeep ride.


Also explore the Aravali hills on way and enjoy the breath taking views of jaipur city from above. 


City Palace, was the principle residence of the former ruling family where the Maharaja reigned from. Chandra Mahal built between 1729 and 1732AD by Sawai Jai Singh II based on a fusion of  Rajput, Mughal and European styles. Now it is a museum which is home to unique handcrafted products.


Visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of the wind) a beautiful pink building with many small windows from where the royal ladies watched the annual procession of dynasty, built in 1799. It has 953 windows on the outside walls, honeycomb shaped and beautifully carved windows allow  breeze to blow through the palace and makes it a perfect summer palace.


Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II an astronomical observatory, consists of 19 large instruments each serving a very specific purpose, used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. The most significant among these is the Samrat Yantra which is the largest sundial in the country. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 04             Jaipur/Agra  Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri   (4 hrs/220kms)                                                                  (B)

 

After breakfast, check out and dive to Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. The deserted city of sandstone built by the Emperor Akbar. 

Fatehpur Sikri, is a red sandstone buildings cluster at its center, founded by a 16th-century Mughal  emperor. Buland  Darwaza  gate  is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the​ marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha  Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.Drive to Agra, transfer to hotel, check in, freshen up and relax. 

Evening, take a 10 minutes walk to the Yamuna River bank, to watch the night view of Taj Mahal across squidgy way around the muddy lane by the water's edge. From here you can get the Taj full side view and the adjoining buildings. Have dinner, walk back to hotel. Overnight in Agra.


Day 05             Agra                                                                                                                                                                                (B) 


Early morning 6.30am, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), one of the seven wonders of the world, created of 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife.


Return to hotel for breakfast before breakfast hall closes at 10.30am. (Reserve your breakfast before you visit the Taj Mahal.

After breakfast, visit Agra Fort, the rusty  and  majestic red sandstone fort stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction  was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Have dinner and transfer to hotel, free and easy. Overnight in Agra.


Day 06             Agra/Amritsar  - By Train)  (11 hrs 40 mins)                                                             (B) 


After breakfast, transfer to Railway station for 08.40am hrs. departure heading to Amritsar. It's an 11 hours 40 mins journey. (We have to book the train tickets at least 3 months ahead of the journey to secure seats and possibly side by side cabins).

Day 07            Amritsar                                                                                                                                                                  (B)


After breakfast, proceed to the Golden Temple, the most important Sikh shrine also known as Harimandir Sahib also called Darbar Sahib, “Sacred Audience” or Golden Temple Amritsar.


The first Harmandir Sahib was built in 1604 by Arjan, the fifth Sikh Guru. The temple was destroyed several times by Afghan invaders and was finally rebuilt in marble and copper overlaid with gold foil during the reign (1801–39) of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The structure thus became known as the Golden Temple. Visit Jallianwala Bagh, the place that reminds every Indian of the brutal and hearless massacre by British general Dyer.

Durgiana Temple houses Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir with a huge pond on its periphery. Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum and Panorama in Ram Bagh, the landscaped garden with summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the center.The Maharaja later named it Ram Bagh. 


In  evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony-Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30kms from Amritsar where the  daily  highlight  is the evening. "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Amritsar. 


Day 08            Amritsar/Srinagar (By Flight)                                                                                                  (B)


After breakfast, check out and transfer to Airport to board the flight to Srinagar. 

Upon arrival at Srinagar, our representative will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat. Check in and have hot lunch at Houseboat. Relax and proceed for sightseeing in the afternoon.


Visit the regal famous Mughal Gardens, with their scenic charm, the Shalimar Bagh, situated along Dal Lake, laid in 1619 by Mughal emperor Jahangir for his beautiful wife Nur Jahan. 


It is divided into three terraced parts, this garden is lined with trails of chinar and carpeted with colourful flower beds. Exquisite arched niches called chini khanas form the highlight of this garden. 


Next in the list of these man-made landscaped marvels is the Nishat Bagh, which was built in 1633 by Nur Jahan's brother Asif Khan. It is known for the 12 terraced formations, which represent different zodiac signs of astrology. The rectangular pool in the middle of this garden was formed by changing the course of a mountain stream. 


Chashme Shahi Garden is the smallest Mughal Garden but is equally picturesque and impressive as its counterparts. This garden earns fame for its natural springs of freshwater, which were discovered by Rupa Bhawani – a female saint from Srinagar. Emperor Shah Jahan laid this garden in 1632 and since then, it has never failed to impress visitors with its exceptional beauty.

Visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). In the evening return back to Houseboat. Dinner and Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 09             Srinagar/Gulmarg  (112 kms)                                                                                                                            (B) 


After breakfast, proceed for a day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy splendor of nature and the snowy mountains.


Optional on your own cost one can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. Hot lunch at Hotel and in the evening return to Houseboat. Dinner and Overnight at Houseboat.


Day 10          Srinagar/Pahalgam (186 kms.)                                                                                              (B) 


After breakfast, check out proceed for full day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening transfer to Houseboat. Dinner and Overnight at Houseboat. 


Day 11             Pahalgam                                                                         (B) 


After breakfast, Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of  some very interesting places around the Lake. Return to houseboat. Dinner at houseboat. Overnight at Houseboat.  


Day 12             Delhi (By Flight                                                                               (B) 


After breakfast, check out and tranfer to  airport in time to catch the flight to Delhi and transit to onward destination.
