Day 01 Arrive Mumbai (Morning arrival) (-)

Day 02 Mumbai (B) 


After breakfast, full day city  tour of  Mumbai City. Tour coverage  includes  Gateway of IndiaVictoria Terminus, Marine Drive  and Hanging Garden,  Prince of Whales Museum, Mani Bhawan and Dhobi Ghat. Enjoy shopping, Free and easy.

Day 03 Mumbai/Bhimashankar (214kms/4hrs 20mins)                                                                         (B) 


After breakfast, check out and drive from Mumbai to Bhimashankar. Transfer to hotel, check in, refresh. Proceed to visit the Jyotirlingas.  Bhimashankar is also one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva, located in the village of Bhavagiri near Pune. It is the sixth Jyotirling in the series of Dwadasha Jyotirlingas.The legend of Shiva slaying the Demon Tripurasura. Transfer to hotel. Free and easy at own leisure. OVERNIGHT IN BHIMA SHANKAR. 

Day 04 Bhimashankar/Trimbakeshwar (230kms/5hrs)                                                                        (B)


After breakfast, check out and drive to Trimbakeshwar. Transfer to hotel, check in, refresh, proceed for a full day temple tour. Trimbakeshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. There is a saying, no sacred place like Tryambakeshwar, no river like Godavari, no mountain like Brahmagiri etc.

This is the holiest place to perform Shraddha ceremony at two significant places-the Shri Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling and Kushavarta–the place from where river Godavari takes its course. Transfer to hotel. Free and easy at own leisure. OVERNIGHT IN TRIMBAKESHWAR

After breakfast, check out and drive to Nasik, proceed for temple tour. Nasik is located on the banks of the holy Godavari River, named from the episode in the Ramayana where Lakshmana, hacked off the nasika (nose) of Ravana’s sister. Nasik also plays host to the grand Kumbh Mela every 12 years. Visit the Panchvati a religious Sanctity,  Kalaram  Mandir – City's Holiest Temple, Naroshankar Temple.

​After   temple  tour,  adventure  the  beautiful  nature  spot Someshwar, situated on the Gangapur Road on the  way to Gangapur dam, about 7 kms away from Nasik city. The  name  derived  from  the Someshwar Lord Shiva temple. Another attraction of this place is the 10 meter long Dudhsagar Waterfalls, a lovely cascade with its creamy white water offers a breathtaking view. There is also Lord Hanuman temple nearby river bed where Devotees can take the pleasure of swimming and boating. 


Next, drive to Ellora Caves. (Closed on Tuesdays), famous Ellora Caves an UNESCO World Heritage. These caves are the jewel in the Deccan rock architecture. It has no fewer than 34 caves, dug along the escarpment stretching over 2km long. It’s quite adventurous.


After Ellora Caves, drive to the Grishneshwar  Jyotirlinga located near Daulatabad at a village called Verul. The shrine is important because it is believed to be the last Jyotirlinga temple on earth.  The temple is also known by several other names like Kusumeswarar,     Ghushmeshwar, Ghushmeswara and Grishneshwar.  It is open from 5.30 am to 9.30 pm daily. The entry into the temple is free. However, if you want to make some offerings, a small payment has to be made. Males have to remove the shirt before going inside Garbhagriha. One can touch the Jyotirlinga here and perform Abhishekh through Pandits.  After Grishneshwar, drive to Aurangabad. Transfer to hotel, check in and refresh. Free and Easy at own leisure. Day 06 Aurangabad/Parli       (220kms/4hrs 20mins)                                     (B)

After breakfast, check out and drive to visit Parli, an ancient village located on the slopes of Meru or Naganarayana Mountain near the three rivers, Brahma, Venu and Saraswati. This temple is famous for the presence of one of the twelve JyotirLingas of Shankara. It is also known as Kantipur, Madhyarekha Vaijayanti or Jayanti.


 Arrive Parli approximately lunch time, transfer to hotel, check in, refresh and proceed to visit Baidyanath Jyotirlinga temple, also known as Baba dham or Baidyanath dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, located in Deoghar of the state of Jharkhand, India. It is believed, the demon king Ravana worshipped Shiva at the current site of the temple to get the boons that he later used to wreak havoc in the world. It is also believed the famous tale of Satyawan and Sawitri happened here. 

​After Parli temple, continue your journey to Aundha Nagath Temple, the first (Aadya) of the 12 jyotirlingas. (You have to leave as early as possible to Parli Baidyanath temple, so that you will have time to reach Aundha Nagath temple in time for evening prayers.)


It has a purana of the Pandavas who came here during their Vanvas (life in forests) build a hermitage for themselves. Their cows used to go to the same river bank to drink water. After drinking water, it is believed the milk used to automatically flow into the river as if the cows were offering to the river. Drive to Hingoli, 30 minutes from Aundha Nagath. Day 07 Hingoli/Ajanta Caves   (236kms/4hrs 40mins)                                                                                                (B) 


After breakfast, check out and drive from Hingoli to Ajantha Caves. Proceed for an excursion tour to Ajanta Caves (Closed on Mondays). 


It is a suspended hillside between heaven and earth, carved into the steep wall of the gorge of the river Baghdogra, with a set of splendid frescoes, the oldest dating back to the second century BC.  The monk’s builders had covered the walls of  monumental sculptures  and  paintings considered one of  the  jewels  of the Indian pictorial art and a peak of Buddhist art. Day 08     Ajanta Caves/Omkareshwar (250km/5hrs 25mins)                                                                                           (B)


                     Omkareshwar/Ujjain (140kms/3hrs 10mins)



After breakfast, check out and drive to Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, darshan and proceed to Ujjain.


The Omkareshwar Temple is built in the Nagara style and is characterized by a lofty shikhara. The Omkareshwar is not affixed to the ground but is naturally installed there. There is always water around it. The significance of this linga is that the linga is not situated below the cupola.


Next, drive to Ujjain, check in, refresh and visit some temples around Ujjain a day ahead of the Kumbh Mela festival to avoid the rush after the festival. 

Ujjain indeed is a spiritual city tempered by science as is evident from the presence of Jantar Mantar, an observatory that has instruments to measure time and planetary positions built in the 1725. Transfer to hotel. Free and Easy. OVERNIGHT IN UJJAIN.


Day 09 Ujjain/Kumbh Mela Festival                                                                                                                                       (B) 




After breakfast, attend Kumbh Mela festivals and the rituals.
