Day 01 Ho Chi Minh City (-/-/-)


Upon arrival at Saigon airport, meet and greet our representative, pick up and transfer to hotel. Free and easy at own leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Miinh.


Day 02 Ho Chi Minh City Tours (B/-/-)

After breakfast, proceed for a overland drive to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese guerrillas to protect the region against the American attacks during the Vietnam War. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American forces, and helped to counter the growing American military effort. We can even crawl a part inside the tunnel, visit their infirmary, kitchen to discover how people had survived hereby.


After lunch, visit half day Saigon city tour, visit the Independence Palace symbolizes Vietnam's victory, peace, and territorial integrity. This place has a glamorous design, hundreds of rooms equipped with luxurious furnishings and decorations, and an enormous and gorgeous exterior space.


Next, visit the War Remnants Museum, formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this is a poignant display of the futility of war. The museum is a call for peace and hopes that history does not repeat itself. (Optional if interested).


Continue to visit th Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, built between 1877 and 1883, one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. 


End the tour, visiting the Ben Thanh Market, a bustling market and is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dais. Drive back to hotel, have dinner nearby hotel vicinity Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 03 Mekong Delta (B/-/-)


After breakfast, proceed tor Ben Tre - the capital of coconut, through the Mekong Delta


Ben Tre is a province in the Mekong Delta, 85km south of Ho Chi Minh City, is blessed with good weather all year round. The most ideal time to visit the province is in the summer months of June, July, and August. This is the time when you can admire colorful natural scenes and enjoy exotic fruit freshly picked right from the tree such as mangosteen, durian, rambutan and more.


Con Phung is located on a floating island in the middle of the Tien River in Tan Thach Commune, Chau Thanh District.Take a motorboat along the dunes to visit the coconut candy processing facilities and coconut souvenir shops, or get on a horse-drawn carriage to visit the orchards, and enjoy tropical fruits. Many travelers are drawn by fun experiences such as fishing for crocodiles and feeding carp using baby bottles. 


There are several orchards for you to visit, like the Cai Mon Orchard in Cho Lach District and Tien Long, Tan Phu orchards in Chau Thanh District. You can take in the garden's lush surroundings, savor the fresh fruits you pick yourself, and eat right there. A ticket includes a one-time entry to the garden, where you can enjoy any kind of fruit freely on the spot. If you plan to bring home some fruits as gifts, you will need to purchase them. 


More than 200,000 families in Ben Tre grow coconuts, which accounts for about two-thirds of all the households in the province. You can try cycling around the coconut gardens, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here. While cycling, visitors can stop to chat with locals to have a better understanding about life in the countryside. 


Drive through Saigon southwards, on a scenic drive to Ben Tre province a 90km journey that takes only 1 hour. 


Start with a boat trip along the river to visit a Brick Kiln Factory, a coconut processing workshop and a local Mat-weaving house. Visit a village where you can have a walk to experience the authentic Delta village life, and enjoy some local fresh fruits.


Take a Xe Loi ride (a modern motorized rickshaw) or cycling tour to explore around the village.


After lunch, take a Rowing sampan along the Water coconut canals with beautiful tropical scenery. Drive back to your hotel, have dinner at nearby hotel vicinity. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 04 Tay Ninh/Cu Chi Tunnels (B/-/-)


After breakfast, proceed for a 70km drive in a north-western direction in the direction of Tay Ninh. The Cao Dai religion is unique to Vietnam and is a blend of both ancient and modern beliefs. The Great Temple at Tay Ninh is the centre of the religion, demonstrated by an exotic temple, often likened to something out of a fairy tale! Here followers of this eclectic religion worship saints such as Victor Hugo, Joan of Arch and even Shakespeare. A highlight of this tour is the very colourful yet formal service held at midday, which you are welcome to observe.


Afternoon, head out to the Cu Chi Tunnels, the vast underground network of tunnels and rooms was built first as a defence against the French and later expanded during the American war. It was from here that the North Vietnamese waged their guerrilla warfare and you will marvel at their ingenuity and resilience. See secret trapdoors, underground kitchens, living areas and meeting rooms. The more adventurous, one may explore even the deeper second, and even third level tunnels. 


For those preferring to remain above ground, there is ample opportunity to view excavated areas from above. Your guide will explain some of the challenges and levels of difficulty for each tunnel one can expect before entering. Some are easily accessed by stairs, other passages require a bit more crawling and ducking. Have dinner and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Saigon.


Day 05 Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B/-/-)


After breakfast, be at your leisure until our re[resentative pick you up for airport transfer for your onward destination
